Abilities Community Services is looking for skilled Community Support Workers supporting individuals in Residential settings.

Abilities is currently looking for a full time position.

Responsibility of the position includes, but is not limited to:

  • Work on goals contained in Person Centred Plans
  • Take part in planning options for participants
  • Food and meal preparation
  • Household chores
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care
  • Any other tasks as may be necessary
  • Must work well in a team environment

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Mental Health and Autism - 1 year Minimum
  • Current First Aid/CPR Level C
  • Class 5 drivers license
  • Trauma Informed Care Training
  • Medical clearance including a recent negative TB test
  • Non Violent Intervention Training
  • A clean criminal reference check
  • CSW diploma or relevant work experience
  • Food Safe

Compensation:

  • This is a position in a union environment
  • Wage will be determined by the number of years/hours that you have worked and will follow the Community Living Services Collective Agreement
  • Wages range from $ $28.75

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.95-$29.76 per hour
