Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Supervise staff, including dental assistants and administrative personnel, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee scheduling of patient appointments and ensure efficient patient flow throughout the office.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes using Dentrix software.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial health of the practice.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Handle human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and industry trends to support staff training and development.
Skills
- A minimum of three years of experience in dental office management is required.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting practices and financial management.
- Familiarity with Able-Dent software is highly desirable.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
