Job Summary

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Systems Administrator (10+ years) to partner with leadership in maintaining and advancing a secure, scalable, and well-structured infrastructure. This role demands technical depth, sound judgment, and reliability — someone who takes initiative but also aligns with broader company goals and directives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and maintain Hyper-V clusters, Proxmox, and VMware environments.
  • Administer Windows Server, Linux, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune).
  • Configure and support WatchGuard firewalls, Ubiquiti (UniFi) networks, VLANs, VPNs, and secure segmentation.
  • Deploy and manage MDT and WDS imaging systems.
  • Implement and maintain Zabbix for infrastructure monitoring, uptime, and alerting.
  • Automate and optimize workflows using PowerShell, Bash, and Power Automate.
  • Execute with precision — follow established directives while understanding how each task supports larger objectives.
  • Take ownership of complex issues, maintain composure under pressure, and deliver consistent results.
  • Mentor junior staff and help establish operational standards across the team.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
  • Deep expertise in networking, WatchGuard, Ubiquiti, Hyper-V, Proxmox, VMware, MDT, Linux, Zabbix, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Power Automate).
  • Logical, analytical thinker who can balance autonomy with adherence to organizational direction.
  • Dependable, steady, and professional under pressure — trusted to execute without constant oversight.
