Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packed efficiently and accurately for shipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within an assembly line environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pack products according to specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy in every package.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively as needed for packing tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to maintain production flow and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking packed items and reporting discrepancies.
  • Utilize forklifts when necessary for moving materials within the warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in relation to operating machinery and tools.
  • Familiarity with assembly line operations and packing procedures is highly desirable.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
