Caregiver/Support Worker

RAPS is Seeking a Caregiver to Assist an Individual with a Developmental Delay & Epilepsy (A59)
Location: St. Albert
Hours/Days: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 3pm-11pm (24 hours per week)
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to assisting and encouraging development with social connections within the community, development and teaching life skills to provide independence, life coaching, employment coaching, assistance with all aspect of hygiene and personal care, assistance with meal preparation and housekeeping, medication administration, documentation, community outings, and social engagements.
· The ideal candidate will be self motivated, upbeat and creative.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, a class 5 driver's license and vehicle for client transport to outings, ability to work with minimal supervision and behavioral experience. Previous health care experience and/or education and experience with Epilepsy and Seizure management considered an asset.
Rate of Pay: $21/Hour
