The RoleThe Growth Business Partner, Growth Operations is a critical role focused on leading and managing growth initiatives in partnership with the AMS executives leading our Growth and Client Partnering organizations and their leadership teams.
This role drives alignment, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration with an emphasis on maximizing growth across all areas of AMS. The Growth Business Partner is a key leader and contributor to our overall growth strategy that is continuously evaluating and enhancing internal processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
The role reports to the Managing Director, Growth Operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCLIENT FACING:
- No direct client-facing responsibilities but support internal client-facing teams.
INTERNAL:
- Partner with Chief Growth Officer and Chief Client Officer to execute annual strategic planning.
- Work with appropriate leadership teams to establish and align on revenue goals and objectives.
- Operationalize pipeline and forecast management processes.
- Operationalize the whitespace analysis activity and reporting.
- Lead key growth initiatives (e.g., CHRO programs, Voice of the Customer programs).
- Develop leadership coaching and development opportunities.
- Identify and improve processes and procedures across the team.
- Work with Marketing on planning for and executing campaigns and events.
- Collaborate with internal solutions teams to bring the best of AMS to the client.
- Hold teams accountable for data hygiene - drive culture of CRM as the "single source of truth".
CRITICAL:
Strategic Alignment:
- Ensures strategies, objectives, and priorities align with AMS go-to-market strategy, enablement goals, and overall revenue objectives for assigned teams. Recommends and tracks progress against KPIs/metrics appropriate to achieving objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Works seamlessly across Growth Operations teams and other AMS functions to align strategies, share insights, track progress against metrics, and drive coordinated execution on enablement and revenue-driving initiatives.
Talent Development & Engagement:
- Attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent by fostering a culture of learning and career growth. Actively supports development and succession planning while creating a highly engaged and collaborative environment where the team feels inspired to deliver at their best.
Sales Operations and Forecasting:
- Strong understanding and application of sales operations best practices, including pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue planning; Leverages data to drive accuracy and transparency, enabling proactive decision-making and course correction.
Process Optimization and Change Management:
- Continuously evaluates and enhances internal processes to drive efficiency and scalability. Leads change management efforts with minimal disruption while improving team productivity and client outcomes.
Program Execution & Measurement:
- Manages the full lifecycle of initiatives — from planning to delivery — with a focus on effectiveness, adoption, and performance outcomes.
Analytical Thinking and Insight Generation:
- Skill in conducting whitespace analysis, interpreting data trends, and identifying growth opportunities. Translates insights into actionable strategies that support client expansion opportunities.
Client Value Focus:
- Ensures Client Partners establish themselves as an integral part of the client's talent team. Coaches team members to identify senior stakeholders across the organization and collaborates on strategies (e.g., planning sessions and workshops) to grow and expand relationships that maximize client value. Models "trusted advisor" behaviors.
DESIRABLE:
- Experience in sales strategy, sales operations, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
- Experience with leadership or management responsibility.
- Proven success in working closely with sales and service leadership (CCOs, CROs, Rev Ops, Marketing, Delivery).
- Proven success with implementing strategic programs including go-to-market strategies, whitespace analysis, and account planning.
- Experience leading strategic planning and revenue management processes.
- Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations preferred.
