Position Summary
Based at Highland Square Mall, Santa's Helper spreads holiday cheer to children and families by helping out Santa, taking family photos with Santa, and engaging with customers. Additional duties of Santa's Helper include but are not limited to:
- Interact with families and children in a friendly manner, creating a magical and memorable experience.
- Provide your own photography equipment to take photos of Santa and children/families with the ability to have photos turned around quickly for customers.
- Organize and keep track of photos being taken with Santa.
- Engage in conversations with all visitors about their holiday experiences, traditions, and wishes.
- Maintain a positive, cheerful, and welcome demeanor.
The profile we are looking for
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Provide your own photography equipment to take photos of Santa and children/families with the ability to have photos turned around quickly for customers.
- Previous experience as Santa's Helper is considered an asset.
- Clear criminal record check.
- Clear vulnerability sector check.
- Availability for part-time hours for the three weeks leading up to Christmas.
