The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, home care, or related fields and will be responsible for providing transportation to appointments and social outings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Help with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during transportation to appointments or outings.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical stimulation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia care and hospice care.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client appointments.
  • Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others in need.
  • Basic cleaning skills and meal preparation experience are essential. Join our team to make a difference in the lives of those we serve while providing compassionate care and companionship.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
