We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Full-time Kitchen Helper in a restaurant located in Streetsville, Mississauga.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Multi-task between order taking in POS, Order replenishing & Customer-Service
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
  • Properly wash and dry all dishes, utensils, pots and cooking equipments.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
  • Remove trash and recycled items, replace garbage bags, and clean garbage cans.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen and dining & and washroom areas.
  • Clear, sanitize, reset tables and chairs.
  • Replenish condiments, water glasses, napkins, and menus when needed.
  • Assist with brining out meal orders to guests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Be able to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday to Thursday on Rotational Shifts
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday on Regular Basis

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Streetsville, Mississauga: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

  • Cooking / Kitchen Helper : 1 year (MUST)
