About the Role:

Egames Canada is looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer with solid Python, JavaScript, and Linux skills. You'll work on real products - web and mobile apps that people actually use. This is a hands-on, in-office role in Kamloops. If you like working face-to-face with a small dev team and learning fast, this is for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, Flutter

  • Develop and support backend services using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or

  • Deploy, debug, and maintain code on Debian Linux servers

  • Integrate REST and WebSocket APIs for real-time functionality

  • Automate workflows and optimize performance

  • Manage deployments on GCP and AWS

  • Collaborate daily in-office with other devs to ship features and solve problems

What You Know:

  • Linux: Comfortable on the command line, managing servers etc.

  • Frontend: Proficient with React, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript

  • Backend: Experience with Python and at least one web framework

  • Databases: Familiar with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar

  • Git: Confident with branching, merging, and pushing

  • Resourceful, curious, and hands-on problem solver

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with React Native or Flutter for mobile apps

  • Knowledge of Redis, CI/CD, or containerized deployments

  • Interest in game dev, WebGL, or real-time systems
