As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team onsite in Kanata, Ontario. This role offers the opportunity to work in a stable, supportive environment while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

The Role

In this position, you will be an important part of day-to-day and month-end accounting activities. You will:

  • Complete full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
  • Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end reporting
  • Handle HST filings, audit support, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to accounting standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency within the finance function

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
  • CPA designation (completed or in final stages strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Nice to have: Experience with KPMG, PwC, or Deloitte
