ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager - Pharmacy Services and as a member of the Pharmacy Team the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the provision of pharmacy services to the clients in the hospital and outpatients within the context of the hospitals mission goals and objectives.

WHAT YOU BRING
Education/Experience:
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy dispensing processes using unit dose
- Knowledge of pharmacy automation including experience with unit dose packaging and automated dispensing cabinets preferred.
- Knowledge of Medication Reconciliation practices preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated accuracy organizational skills problem-solving and multi-tasking skills

- Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Asset:
- Experience with inventory control, sterile pharmaceutical preparation, and hospital pharmacy operations is an asset
Conditions of Employment:
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
