Product Owner Support & Delivery Operations (SAP)

Greater Vancouver (Hybrid)

Pay:
$80–$90/hour (DOE)

About the role

Partner directly with the Product Owner across multiple SAP workstreams to standardize Jira operations, tighten governance, improve business visibility, and keep releases on track. Light team-ops support (admin/QC and occasional HR coordination) included.

What you'll do

  • Support the Product Owner
    on roadmap, backlog health, and release readiness
  • Stand up a
    unified Jira operating model
    (projects, workflows, dashboards/Advanced Roadmaps) across projects & sustainment with
    3–6 month
    resource/dependency forecasting
  • Establish
    governance standards
    : BRD/FRD, NFRs, RTM, process impact assessments, change logs, sign-off packages
  • Lead/coordinate
    UAT
    (plans, scenarios/scripts, triage), publish release notes, drive stakeholder comms & readiness
  • Provide
    administration & quality control
    across delivery initiatives (status, risks, RAID, metrics)
  • Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and SIs on
    interfaces/data migration
    to ensure traceable requirements
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops; document decisions and actions
  • Streamline workflows
    to reduce admin burden for SAP team members
  • Light HR support
    when needed (draft postings, schedule interviews)

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years
    Business Analysis on large, complex IT programs;
    3–5+ years
    leading/mentoring BAs or acting as a lead
  • Strong
    Jira configuration
    and
    portfolio/Advanced Roadmaps
    reporting; confident with Agile ceremonies & dependency mgmt
  • Proven delivery of
    governance artifacts
    (BRD/FRD, NFRs, RTM, test plans/reports) and formal sign-offs
  • Excellent stakeholder facilitation, communication, and executive reporting
  • Proficiency with MS Office and
    Visio

    (S/4HANA or ECC; Fiori/UI5 awareness) or other
    ERP
    experience
  • Utilities/Public Sector
    background
  • Familiarity with structured delivery methodologies (e.g., ITDSP), Confluence, REST APIs, data migration/interface coordination
