Business Advisory Trainee – Bolton

  • Support the delivery of a range of services for clients, including annual accounts, VAT returns, management accounts, and advisory work, under the guidance of more senior team members.
  • Take responsibility for assigned tasks, following clear instructions and asking questions where needed to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Produce high-quality work for review, demonstrating attention to detail and a willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Begin building your technical knowledge by working on a variety of client jobs and applying learning from your professional studies or in-house training.
  • Develop an understanding of different types of businesses and industries by working with a broad mix of clients.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, and start to recognise when issues or opportunities should be raised for discussion.

Requirements

  • A-Levels/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential
  • Willingness to study for a professional qualification

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
