Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and experienced Labourers and Equipment Operators for our Snow Removal Crews to efficiently clear snow and ice from designated parking lots and walkways during winter months. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment, ensuring safe and timely snow removal to maintain accessibility and safety for our customers. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate skid steers, loaders and related equipment safely and effectively during snowstorms and icy conditions.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, if applicable, to ensure proper functioning.
  • Clear snow from roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and other designated areas while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Use shovels and backpack blowers to clear snow from parking lots, sidewalks, and other designated areas
  • Coordinate with Team Lead and Operations Manager to prioritize routes and ensure efficient snow removal operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating skid steers, loaders or similar heavy machinery.
  • Ability to operate shovels and backpack blowers safely and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in winter weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in cold temperatures for extended periods.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
