Bighorn Auto Sales & Service LTD is a growing organization that is looking to expand our team in the Revelstoke, BC area.

If you meet these requirements, we want to hear from you

-You are a journeyman automotive mechanic (will consider 4th year apprentices as well)

-You enjoy working with a team, have strong communication skills, yet you have the ability to work independently

-You show interest in repairing all makes & models of vehicles, and you really have a lot if interest in light duty diesel pickups up to a 2-ton chassis

-You're flexible

-You prioritize health and safety

-You take pride in completing a job in a timely and efficient manner

-You can provide your own tools

-You have a class 5 driver's license

A day in the life of an automotive service technician at Bighorn Auto will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

  • Diagnosing vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade

  • Conducting routine maintenance work

  • Maintain clear and accurate work orders

  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

  • Maintain clear communication with office staff & professional interactions with customers

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive service technician

  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

  • Ability to operate shop equipment safely and efficiently

  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

**Relocation Bonus available for successful applicants after probationary period**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.92-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
