Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standards.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level inspections.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues accurately.
  • Assist in the assembly of vehicle components as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate with customers regarding repair needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
  • Lift heavy components as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.

Experience

  • Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues using schematics.
