GTS Ops Support Rep

This is an interview position
Provides technical customs regulations expertise to internal and external customers pertaining to Canadian and international customs regulations and legislation. Acts as a qualified representative for FedEx management in customs consulting to customers and global sales. Provides customer satisfaction through efficient problem resolution. Plans and implements GTS projects as assigned and works as a management assist person. Interacts with local government agencies in order to protest/follow through to resolve any Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) penalties.

Educational Requirements
Post Secondary:
- Bachelor's degree/educational equivalent
- CCS Designation
Related Experience Requirements
Minimum number of years required for entry to this job
- GTS - 3.5 years
- Current customs experience required including commodity classification, valuation laws and other governmental agency requirements
Amount of time required to learn or adjust to the job
- 1 year
Other specific mandatory experience requirements
- Incumbents must maintain their CCS designation when in this position. Must achieve annual recurrency points.
Technical Skill Requirements
Solid knowledge of the following:
- Thorough knowledge of GTS clearance systems.
- Knowledge of FedEx Express operations, systems and procedures
Computer literacy and proficiency:
- Microsoft Word - Basic
- Microsoft Excel - Basic
- Excel Powerpoint – Basic
- Outlook - Basic

Les candidats seront également évalués selon : 1) leur relevé annuel de conduite ; 2) leur performance en entrevue ; et 3) leurs résultats aux évaluations de conduite administrées.
