What You'll Work With

  • Robotic IPG laser welding
    systems (automated cells/fixtures)
  • Fronius iWave
    TIG (incl. AC for aluminum)
  • CRS & aluminum
    sheet-metal assemblies and jigs/fixtures

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce
    high-quality, repeatable welds
    to spec (CRS & aluminum)
  • Operate/assist
    with robotic welding cells (basic teaching, fixture alignment)
  • Hold
    tight tolerances
    , complete in-process and final
    QC checks/logs
  • Maintain a
    clean, organized, and safe
    workstation (laser/TIG safety)
  • Suggest
    small process improvements
    to boost consistency/throughput

What We're Looking For

  • Proven
    sheet-metal welding
    experience (laser and/or TIG; MIG an asset)
  • Detail-oriented
    and patient—enjoys
    repetitive
    production with precision
  • Can
    read drawings
    (weld symbols, bend lines, GD&T basics)
  • Technically curious
    and eager to learn robotic workflows
  • Calm communicator
    ; respectful, low-drama team player

Hours & Culture

  • Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
    (30-min lunch, two paid 10-min breaks)
  • Punctuality matters.
    Consistent on-time starts are required.
  • Quiet, focused, phone-free floor; respectful, drama-free culture

Physical & Safety

  • Standing
    for most of the shift
  • Heavier lifting
    required at times (proper technique and team/assist devices)
  • PPE compliance; follow
    laser safety
    , fume control, and hot-work procedures

Working Interview (Unpaid)

  • Unpaid skills assessment
    (non-production test pieces only) to demonstrate:
  • Aluminum and CRS joints (lap/corner/T/butt) in common sheet gauges
  • Distortion control & basic fixture use
  • Simple robot path touch-up or fixture alignment (if applicable)
  • Bring safety footwear; we supply remaining PPE for the assessment
  • Candidates may provide prior
    photos/videos
    of their work (strongly preferred)

    bead profile and penetration
    to spec

    lot completions and accurate QC logs
