ABA Therapist in CLINIC (SCHOMBERG LOCATION) - EMPLOYEE POSITION

We are currently looking for individuals with an amazing personality, who LOVE to play and have fun, and have experience working with autistic children to fill part-time and full-time employee Instructor Therapist/Behaviour Clinician positions in the community (homes and daycares) in Simcoe County - Barrie, Innisfil, EG, Lisle, Orillia.

Afterschool and Saturday availability required.

Please note, therapists start with part-time hours and build to full-time hours, as per availability and areas of competency.

About the position. Autism Therapists will provide therapy in a one-on-one setting, or in a group (3:1 or 4:1 ratio) setting to autistic children ages 2-7, while applying ABA teaching methodologies and following protocols as outlined by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont.). Successful candidates must undergo evaluations every 4 months and participate in scheduled team meetings and conferences as required.

Qualifications:

  • Behavioural Science Technology Diploma, Autism Behavioural Science Certificate, Early Childhood Education Diploma
  • Degree in Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Social Work or related field
  • Experience working with and implementing ABA teaching strategies with autistic children and learning needs.
  • Available to work during the day, evenings, and optional weekends.
  • Vulnerable sector check

Experience:

  • MINIMUM 1 YEAR experience working in Early Intervention services or as an ABA therapist; or related field
  • Experience working with children ages 2-7
