Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and assembling dishes as directed by the chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste properly.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food handling meets health regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are advantageous.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety standards is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic setting.
