Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes. This role focuses on improving equipment performance, reducing downtime, and enhancing product quality through technical solutions and process improvements. The Manufacturing Technician works closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing systems are running efficiently.
Responsibility
- Provide technical support for manufacturing processes, including troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment or process issues.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements that increase production efficiency and product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on manufacturing equipment to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
- Analyze production data and provide recommendations for process enhancements, material usage, and equipment modifications.
- Participate in new equipment installations, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and integration into existing production systems.
- Assist in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring all machinery and systems are functioning optimally.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data collection, analysis, and implementation of solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Work with production teams to identify challenges and provide technical solutions to minimize disruptions and maximize output.
Academic/Educational Requirements
- Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related technical field.
Required Skills/Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or manufacturing technician role, preferably in an automotive or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, and process optimization.
- Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work with engineers and cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
