About The RoleReporting to the Controller, the Accounting Clerk will have an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing, complex accounting environment. This part-time contract position for three (3) days per week over a four (4) month term offers the chance to collaborate closely with internal teams, including leaders, technicians, and external clients across multiple industries. You will become part of a tightly knit team, contributing to the continuous growth and efficiency of our day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create customer invoices from multiple data sources;
- Process purchase orders in a timely manner;
- Input financial data accurately and efficiently;
- Review data for errors and correct any discrepancies.
The ideal candidate for this part-time contract position, working three (3) days per week over a four (4) month term, excels in attention to detail and demonstrates a proactive approach, consistently meeting deadlines with positivity and accountability, even in high-pressure situations. As a strong team player, you are committed to meeting customer demands and adapting to a variety of projects and industries. You approach challenges with resilience, sound decision-making, and creative problem-solving, reflecting your commitment to innovation and safety. Additionally, you are skilled at building strong, effective relationships across all levels of the business.
Our Must Haves
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in an accounting role;
- Certificate, diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field;
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook);
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Experience with ERP software (Sage, PeopleSoft, etc.) will be considered an asset.

- Wage: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
