Job Overview

Harris Hills is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working ticket window, creating and recording accurate sales tickets, managing financial records, accounts payable and receivable. This role requires proficiency in accounting software (Sage/Simply) and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Please note this position is in a semi-remote location on site at the sand pit.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, direct, and manage all customers and sales
  • Create, compile and manage sales tickets and Excel tracking systems
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices
  • Utilize accounting software, Sage (Simply) for financial tracking and reporting
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare reports as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data is maintained
  • Maintain professional and clean office area

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software Sage (Simply) is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices is essential
  • Drivers License and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time
