Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems across various facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical components, and schematics to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for system diagnostics and repairs
  • Conduct plumbing, welding, and mechanical work as needed for system installation or repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and system performance
  • Assist with boiler operations and other HVAC-related tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Diagnose issues with appliances and mechanical components related to refrigeration systems
  • Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC, plumbing, welding, and appliance repair
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for complex refrigeration systems
  • Experience working with boilers, construction projects, and general maintenance tasks
  • Mechanical or mechanic experience preferred, with a focus on refrigeration or HVAC systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot efficiently using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and documenting work processes
