Guard Sought for Security Position

This opening is for a guard to provide security services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Patrolling the premises to ensure safety and security.
  • Conducting regular checks of designated areas.
  • Providing a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Controlling access at entry points and verifying authorized personnel.
  • Responding to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies with appropriate actions.
  • Enforcing policies and procedures, reporting suspicious activities.
  • Documenting incidents, accidents, and security breaches in reports.
  • Monitoring surveillance equipment and reporting malfunctions.
  • Assisting employees, visitors, and vendors as needed.

Requirements
  • A valid security license issued by Ontario.
  • First Aid & CPR – Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
  • A G-Class Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • English fluency (oral and written).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in security.
  • Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB).
  • The ability to work legally in Canada.
