Cielo is a privately held licensed producer of premium quality-grade recreational adult-use cannabis with one of Quebec's most extensive growing facilities and a yearly production capacity of approximately 10 tons.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with day-to-day maintenance tasks across the facility.
  • Perform basic repairs on building systems, machinery, and equipment (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, structural).
  • Identify maintenance issues and report them promptly.
  • Help maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe condition.

Plumbing Duties

  • Perform minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets/valves, clearing blockages, and troubleshooting water flow issues.
  • Inspect plumbing systems regularly to detect potential problems early.
  • Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and water systems.
  • Support preventive maintenance schedules for plumbing infrastructure.

Facility Support

  • Assist with building inspections and reporting on facility conditions.
  • Support general upkeep tasks: painting, patching, carpentry, lighting replacements, etc.
  • Help coordinate with external contractors when required.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from management and staff in a timely manner.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
  • Use proper PPE and safe work habits at all times.
  • Assist in documenting maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in building maintenance, facility operations, or a related field.
  • Practical plumbing experience required (apprentice-level or equivalent an asset).
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems (asset).
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take direction.
  • Good physical condition; able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
  • Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends if emergencies arise.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time schedule (Monday–Friday; hours to be confirmed).
  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
  • Benefits available after probation period

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
