Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Instructor to join our team. This role involves delivering engaging safety training sessions to diverse groups, ensuring participants understand essential health and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong classroom experience and a passion for teaching others about safety practices. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by promoting a safe work environment through effective instruction and education.

Duties

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive industry safety training programs tailored to various audiences
  • Conduct classroom sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations on safety procedures and protocols
  • Assess participants' understanding through quizzes, discussions, and practical assessments
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Prepare training materials, handouts, and visual aids to enhance learning experiences
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and customize content accordingly
  • Ensure all training activities comply with organizational policies and legal standards

Experience

  • Experience in working in the oil & gas industry.
  • Be able to speak in public and or large groups.
  • Proven teaching skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Regulations & Legislations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to create clear, informative, and engaging training materials.
  • Experience in developing curriculum or training modules is a plus.
  • Certification or background in occupational safety is desirable but not mandatory.
