Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and experience in hospitality settings. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse guest population.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and check them in/out efficiently using front desk systems
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, reservations, and guest requests
  • Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and prompt resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
  • Process payments and manage billing transactions accurately
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest interaction at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred, especially hotel experience
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guests effectively
  • Knowledge of front desk procedures and hospitality industry standards is desirable
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
