We are seeking a talented and passionate Baker/Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and cake decorating, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and customer requests.
  • Decorate cakes with artistic flair, using various piping techniques.
  • Package finished products for display and sale while maintaining presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies needed for food production.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in baking and cake decorating to continually enhance skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in baking and cake decorating including crumb coat, base layer and piping details.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • A passion for baking and creativity in cake design is essential.
