Serving Members since 1903, the Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board (WRREB) represents more than 2,500 licensed real estate professionals. The organization serves REALTORS in Winnipeg and surrounding regions and is committed to advancing professionalism, advocacy and Member support in real estate.
The Role
The Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board is seeking a strategic, collaborative and Member-centric leader
to join our senior management team. As
Director of Member Experience, Policy & Professionalism
, you will be responsible for guiding support for a myriad of Member tools, professional development training, regulatory and policy support functions that uphold REALTOR standards and enhance value for our Members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor staff in compliance, professional standards, Member tools and help desk support services.
- Provide guidance and support to WRREB Committees focused on MLS Policies, technology, ethics, standards, professional development and training and Member engagement.
- Build strong relationships with brokerages and individual REALTORS, advising them on compliance matters, best practices and policy.
- Liaise with legal, regulatory and real estate partners to align WRREB policy with provincial legislation and REALTOR ethical frameworks.
- Oversee the interpretation, development and application of WRREB policies, identify ambiguities or gaps and lead updates.
- Design, grow, and manage a comprehensive professional development program (courses, webinars, certification, mentoring).
- Use data and Member feedback to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Minimum eight years of relevant leadership experience in real estate brokerage management, experience working with real estate regulatory bodies, real estate compliance or real estate legal experience.
- Deep understanding of real estate regulation, compliance, REALTOR codes of ethics and industry trends.
- Strong governance and committee experience (comfortable working with volunteer boards and committees).
- Excellent communicator: able to translate complex regulatory/ethical issues into clear, actionable multi-channel communications.
- Proven ability to build trust and relationships within a Member centric organization and/or across diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead multiple programs simultaneously.
- Aptitude for data, metrics and informed decision-making.
- Post-secondary degree in business administration, communications or real estate law.
