Responsibilities

Supports the Department Manager to:

  • Produce high quality natural foods in accordance to our delicious recipes
  • Prepare, pre-cook, cook or bake- salads, entrees, and treats to be served in the Deli showcase
  • Wash, prepare, and chop fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh and mix ingredients
  • Clean preparation area, equipment, and Kitchen in accordance to Health and Safety policies
  • Rotate stock to ensure quality and fresh merchandise at all times
  • Maintain a positive work environment

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Have previous experience preparing and cooking food
  • Have a passion for food and love sharing your knowledge with others.
  • Have a valid Food Safe certificate
  • Have an interest in all natural, organic, local and healthy ingredients and foods
  • Excel when working in a fast-paced environment
  • Have the ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
  • Have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary. Must be available to work at least 1 day on the weekend.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
