Your Role: Leadership With Impact
As the Clinic Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the busy clinic and ensure that every patient experience is smooth, professional, and positive. Duties
  • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and support clinic staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Implement and maintain efficient office management practices to optimize patient flow and service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to BC and Canadian privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as Profile for effective medical record management.
  • Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement in patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, managed care processes, and utilization management practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high standards of clinical care are met.
  • Serve as the main liaison between physicians, staff, and patients, promoting open communication and problem resolution.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and service enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a medical office or clinic setting in a Leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team leadership and development.
  • Familiarity with healthcare management principles and practices
  • Experience with financial management including budgeting and fiscal oversight within a healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in medical administrative support functions including scheduling, billing, and coding processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort navigating competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare policies, office systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with payroll software (Payworks) an asset
  • Tech-savvy and experienced with implementing and optimizing systems.
  • Experience with EMR systems such as Profile
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate complex healthcare systems while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
