Saskatoon SK SN Y, Canada Draganfly Innovations Full time $60,000 - $77,000 per year

About  Draganfly:

Draganfly Inc. (the "Company") has been a recognized leader in technology within the commercial UAV space for over two decades. We helped establish the commercial market & adoption of multi-rotor helicopters for public safety, agriculture, aerial imaging, & more. As a leader who helped shape the industry, Draganfly's focus is on the sale of drone products and services, contract engineering & custom integration product development, and health monitoring products and services.

Draganfly is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Technologist to join our team at our Saskatoon facility. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and love solving technical challenges, this is your chance to contribute to the development of next-generation drone platforms.

As part of our product development and production support team, you'll play a key role in building, testing, and troubleshooting the electronic assemblies and subsystems that power Draganfly's innovative UAV systems. You'll work closely with engineers and production staff to bring designs to life—turning concepts into prototypes and supporting their transition into scalable manufacturing.

This is an on-site position and the salary range is $60,000 - $77,000

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with engineering to improve manufacturability and serviceability.
  • Support production and customer service with troubleshooting and repair.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements across electronics development and production.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in electronics assembly, testing, or related role (UAV, aerospace, or robotics industry experience is an asset).
  • Proficiency in soldering (surface mount and through-hole), rework, and prototype assembly.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Experience with PCB CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360)
