Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server& Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong time management skills and a solid understanding of food safety and food handling protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and cash handling, using POS systems like Micros POS.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations.
  • Handle food service responsibilities when necessary, including serving snacks or light fare.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours through effective time management.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse clientele professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
