Tri-global Solutions Group Inc. is seeking one (1) Senior SAP Business Analyst (Procurement/Supply Chain/OTC) to join our talented Service Delivery team at Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis to support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Transformation Project.
WORK MODEL: The successful contractor will be working remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings if required. It is anticipated that this role will be 100% remote. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security policies. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada to apply (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident). Standard Hours of work are 08:15 - 16:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding observed holidays.

This will further enable and enhance master data management and customer relationship management enterprise capabilities.
We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with experience in complex large-scale SAP ERP project implementations (Focus on Finance, Supply Chain & Human Resources Functional Areas) to supplement the ERP Business Analyst Team and be the conduit between Information Technology (IT) and the business for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Transformation.
Summary: Reporting to the ERP Senior BA, the BA resource will partner with the business to identify, analysis and document business requirements for AGLC's ERP transformation projects. This includes researching, reviewing, and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements to new ERP capabilities. The BA will identify, document, and analyze requirements, document solutions, allocate requirements and make recommendations to achieve the desired future state with the new ERP workflow and solution. The BA will develop test plans, support testing and assist with User Acceptance Testing processes. The BA will be responsible for managing and communicate changes, enhancements, modifications, and progression throughout various phases of the project life cycle to key stakeholders within IT and the functional business area. The primary work location is remote/online with a requirement to work from the office if required.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
This role is responsible for identifying, gathering, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of end-users in a particular area of the business, and for IT projects or initiatives. These include interviewing stakeholders, capturing the "to-be" state, process improvements, and identifying the associated business requirements. These results convey to the Architecture, Change Management and Quality Assurance teams the breadth and nature of the end users' needs and environment, thereby driving their solution design, change management and testing efforts.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and validation workshops
- Develop and document project visions and approach
- Analyze and define business requirements for determining roles relationships and data structures to meet business security privacy and operational requirements
- Analyze and define data and information requirements needed to address business requirements used by data modelers and architects responsible for developing logical and physical data models and/or analyzing and designing class models to meet business requirements
- Work with business clients and technical teams on the design development and implementation of business applications
- Document, analyze, and manage business requirements
- Develop business cases
- Produce deliverables within specified quality standards
- Escalate issues and risks as appropriate
- Prepare and execute tasks in accordance with a defined project plan
- Review and provide input on test strategies plans and test cases to ensure they adequately cover the defined business requirements
- Execute tasks in accordance with control processes, including schedule management, status-reporting issues, risk and change management at the project and or program level
- Attend necessary meetings to review schedule, status, issues, risk, and change management
- Support project team members in the analysis of issues
- Prepare status reports, meeting minutes, change requests, and other documents
- Undertake management detailing tasks and review the timelines associated with the execution of those tasks
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Experience gathering, analyzing, validating, verifying, documenting and approving requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases scenarios, business cases, business analysis, client meetings and business process modeling. (5 years+)
Experience working closely with business clients and business areas and performing the following activities: - interviewing business clients - planning, executing and supporting requirements - triaging user requirement issues/problems - translating conceptual user requirements into functional requirements and non-functional requirements that is comprehensible to various team members including technical teams, solution/data architects and various project team members. (5 years+)
Experience working on concurrent projects spanning multiple business areas, business processes and technical environments. (5 years+)
Experience in developing/reviewing test strategies, test cases, test scripts, test plans, conducting System Integration Testing, conducting User Acceptance Testing and leading testing. (5 years+)
Experience in defect management, logging, tracking and resolution during System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing phases and using defect management tool(s). (5 years+)
Experience with process map/models development, specifications, diagrams and charts to clarify and validate processes with the business and guide development and implementation teams. (5 years+)
Experience with risk management, issues management and change management. (5 years+)
Experience with ERP implementation preferably SAP solution. (3 years+)
The proposed resource must have demonstrated experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and OTC. (5 years+)
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Experience with planning, creating, organizing, scheduling, prioritizing and executing business analysis activities including approval process throughout project (i.e. BA Plan etc.). (3 years+)
Experience with facilitating requirements gathering sessions and documenting requirements to understand business and technology changes to support execution of change management, business readiness, business process changes, business workflow/rule development, data definition development, project planning and project execution activities. (3 years+)
Define measurable evaluation criteria to assess the success of the change (i.e. User Stories, Use Cases, acceptance criteria). (3 years+)
Experience with developing and documenting a traceability matrix to ensure requirements are complete and identify requirements relationships to the solution to ensure the solution meets business requirements. (3 years+)
Make decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues and without formal guidelines or precedents. Exercise resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy. (3 years+)
Experience in establishing methods and tools to support documenting current and future business requirements through working with the business clients/users to ratify and develop sound understanding and knowledge of the business requirements, ensuring that they are clearly documented. (3 years+)
Experience developing and documenting system users' access and training documentation. (3 years+)
Analyze and define business requirements for determining roles, relationships and data structures to meet business, security, privacy, training and operational requirements. (3 years+)
Lead and/or assist in developing, reviewing and updating of project deliverables, including but not limited to (3 years+):
o use case, business, process, data, physical and/or other models;
o business requirements;
o stakeholder assessment;
o functional requirements;
o technical requirements;
o operational requirements;
o organizational change management;
o work plans.
