Who We Are:

Mountain Oasis Spa & Tanning is a locally owned day spa in downtown Canmore. We offer a range of services including esthetics, massage therapy, facials, and tanning. Our team is small, supportive, and dedicated to making every client feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

What We're Looking For:

We're currently seeking a part-time receptionist to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced yet peaceful environment. Current days to start will be Sunday & Monday and on call if needed. Please note this position is located in Canmore and preference will be given to those currently in the area. We do not currently offer staff accommodation.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet and check in clients with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage appointment bookings, phone calls, and email inquiries
  • Handle payments and retail sales at the front desk
  • Support the team by keeping the front area tidy and organized
  • Help maintain the smooth day-to-day flow of the spa
  • Manage Tanning machines by starting, disinfecting and updating tanning clients accounts
  • Light housekeeping (laundry, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc)
  • Add/Update retail products as needed
  • Manage close out reports at the end of your shift

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Square Booking an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience in clerical and administrative tasks
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
  • Previous experience in a front desk or reception role
