Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and pediatrics, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist.
Key Responsibilities
· Support implementation of individualized therapy plans for children ages 0–17.
· Facilitate sessions focusing on fine motor, sensory, self-regulation, feeding, or communication goals.
· Assist in documenting session notes, progress, and client engagement.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment.
· Communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, and team members.
· Support workshops, caregiver consultations, and community outreach programs as needed.
Qualifications
· Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
· Experience working with children and families (clinic, school, or community setting preferred).
· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism.
· Current Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
