Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in developing their English language and academic skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with children. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys by providing personalized instruction in various subjects and languages.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in subjects such as English reading, writing, and grammar.
  • Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and needs.
  • Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and classroom assignments.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians when appropriate.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different age groups and skill levels, especially children.
  • Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions and student achievements.

Skills

  • Prior experience with tutoring or teaching in classroom settings is preferred.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience working with children and understanding of their developmental needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for education.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
