JOB OVERVIEW:

FIELDBOSS is an innovative, flexible field service management solution, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and designed for elevator, HVAC, and specialty contractors. The organization is led by a team of Chartered Professional Accountants and Certified Microsoft Technology Specialists who have been providing the highest level of service in the Microsoft solution consulting industry since 1989.

We're in search of a Dynamics 365 Systems Deployment Engineer who will be expected to handle a diverse range of technical responsibilities that often cross over both technical and functional requirements. The candidate is experienced with the deployment, configuration and maintenance of Dynamics 365 CE and Dynamics Business Central.

Responsibilities include the deployment of FIELDBOSS to customer environments for upgrades, patches, hotfixes and for new customers. This role will be responsible for managing the schedules for all deployment requests submitted to the Engineering team. The ideal candidate is well organized and able to work with other departments to ensure deployments are delivered successfully and on-time. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this position.

FIELDBOSS software includes integration between Dynamics 365 CE and Dynamics Business Central. The successful candidate will need to troubleshoot integration issues when required. This will require previous experience supporting ERP and CRM systems.

The Systems Engineer will self manage tasks with minimal supervision, work independently and as a task leader, often balancing multiple deadlines concurrently. The Systems Engineer will provide responsive service levels with a professional and friendly attitude.

Objectives:

  • Maximize testing accuracy in all unit tests.
  • Improve testing efficiency to ensure new and existing features are tested in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the automation of test scripts.
  • Maintain testing scripts and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to help improve testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Test new and existing FIELDBOSS features and processes.
  • Test customer FIELDBOSS deployments when required.
  • Conduct FIELDBOSS performance testing.
  • Maintain and improve the FIELDBOSS test plan.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the automated test processes.
  • Setup and maintain test records in the test environments.
  • Assist the FIELDBOSS Support team.
  • Document FIELDBOSS test processes.
