Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain Trylon towers, DMX towers, All Weld Self Support towers, All Weld Guyed towers, break pole towers, and masts.
  • Tower climbing and rigging such as installing antennas, dishes, coax, and mounting hardware by selecting and using proper cables, ropes, blocks, pullies, and capstans on various structures.
  • Install various ancillary items on various communication towers including ice guards, antenna mounts and transmission line support systems, anti-climbs, lighting systems, fall protection systems, and tower grounding systems.
  • Identify, select, and use proper communications testing equipment based on job requirements.
  • Identify, select, and use proper rigging equipment based on job requirements.
  • Working at heights using various equipment such as ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolding, and man baskets.
  • Travel long distances to and from different locations which may require overnight stays.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Able to confidently work at heights.
  • Class 5 driver's license with acceptable drivers abstract.
  • Basic understanding of computer fundamentals.
  • Must be physically fit and be able to safely lift 55 lbs.
  • Basic understanding and safe use of hand, air, and power tools.
  • Tower rigging and climbing experience is an asset.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is considered an asset.

  • Hourly rate ranges between $20.00/hour – $45.00/hour (Compensation will be based on the combination of experience and education.)
