Sessional Lecturer - CTL1018H - Introduction to Qualitative Inquiry in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning [RM]

Course number and title: CTL1018H - Introduction to Qualitative Inquiry in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning [RM] - Course description: Experiential learning for students new to qualitative inquiry is provided through a broad introduction to qualitative approaches from beginning to end. A range of approaches relating to students' theoretical frameworks are explored. Thesis students are encouraged to pilot their thesis research.

Appointment percentage: 100

Salary: As of September 1, 2025, the minimum stipend is $9, inclusive of vacation pay) for a half credit course.

As of January 1, 2026, the minimum stipend is $9, inclusive of vacation pay) for a half credit course.

Salary may be prorated based on the appointment percentage.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should possess a doctorate degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrated currency and mastery of the subject area. Mastery may be demonstrated, but not limited to scholarly publications establishing expertise in the area

Preferred Qualifications: Over and above the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to individuals with prior graduate teaching experience in this area.

Description of duties: Prepare, organize, and teach this half-course graduate seminar; be available to students seeking assistance between classes; evaluate and provide students with feedback on their work.
