Responsibilities

  • Analyzing client requirements and clearly understanding the actual needs of parallel job and creating templates of it.
  • Design, develop, and deliver performant and maintainable data warehouse and business intelligence solutions for lottery gaming applications with modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Administration of the IBM Information Server through Web Console and in Linux level
  • Guidance in Tuning the Parallel jobs in Design and the SQL queries for improving the performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to define requirements and align on strategic data warehouse solutions, resulting in seamless integration and optimized business outcomes
  • Guidance in creation of Audit or Balance Report in BO which provides information about the count of data in the Dimension and Fact tables and scheduled it to run after the Master Sequence completes.
  • Guidance in preparing LLD, HLD, SSD, UTC, UTP documents.
  • Guidance on Design and development of parallel jobs for data retention.
  • Data Stage server management and Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda
  • Guidance in deployment of ETL solution to QA, CAT/UAT and PROD environments.
  • Guiding, mentoring and knowledge transfer to new joiners on Data stage and Lottery domain concepts. Involve in data lake development
  • On-call support to help Operations team in the event of any issues with the data warehouse applications on live production systems and thereby preventing any liquidity damages for clients
  • Installation of Datastage clients (8.x, 9.x and 11.x)

Qualifications

  • Strong in Data stage with 8+ years, Snowflake and SQL implementations with 6+ years of experience

  • Experience with the following skills and technologies, lottery and gaming domain knowledge adds up advantage.

  • ETL/ELT

  • IBM Infosphere Data Stage

  • Basic understanding of DBT
  • RDBMS: IBM DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake
  • SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Maven and Software builds
  • Event-based Architectures and Kafka
  • SCM methodology like bitbucket and github

. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for short-term incentive or other discretionary bonuses. More senior roles maybe eligible for long-term incentive bonuses.
