Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues and system failures in HVAC equipment to determine required repairs or replacements.
  • Keep management updated on procedures, progress, and status of work orders.
  • Inspect HVAC systems and components (e.g., rooftop units, furnaces, hot water tanks, tankless heaters, AC units, heat pumps, ventilation systems) to assess condition and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Attend required training sessions, workshops, and meetings.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial rooftop heating and cooling systems.
  • Complete written documentation such as repair notes, logs, and activity reports.
  • Repair and service HVAC equipment and components including pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, and piping.
  • Interpret and work from shop drawings and control schematics.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments accurately and efficiently.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.

Required Certifications

  • 313D Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Certificate
  • TSSA Gas Technician 2 Certificate
