About the Opportunity
A growing organization supporting large-scale construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Canada and internationally is seeking a Talent Manager – Trades & Industrial Staffing to join its recruitment delivery team.
This role is ideal for an experienced agency recruiter or industrial talent acquisition professional with a deep understanding of the skilled trades workforce — including HVAC Technicians, Pipefitters, Ironworkers, Electricians, Welders, Millwrights, Heavy Equipment Technicians, and Automotive Technicians (Journeypersons and Apprentices).
You'll play a critical role in sourcing, engaging, and placing top trades professionals for projects nationwide, helping match great people with long-term, stable employment opportunities across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit skilled trades and industrial professionals, including HVAC Technicians, Electricians, Pipefitters, Ironworkers, Welders, Millwrights, Heavy Equipment Technicians, and Automotive Technicians (Journeypersons and Apprentices).
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from job postings and candidate outreach to interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to support redeployment and ongoing career engagement.
- Partner with account managers to understand client needs, project timelines, and specific trade requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and recruitment activity in the ATS/CRM system.
- Stay up to date on certifications, trade ticket requirements, and market labour trends.
- Deliver a high-quality, professional candidate experience aligned with company values.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in agency recruitment, industrial staffing, or skilled trades workforce management.
- Strong knowledge of construction, mining, oil & gas, transportation, automotive, and heavy equipment sectors.
- Proven ability to source and engage trades professionals across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM systems and experience managing high-volume candidate pipelines.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.
