Now we're looking for a skilled Cake Decorator to join our Bakery Production Kitchen team.

What you'll do

  • Decorate cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts with creativity and precision
  • Execute piping, glazing, garnishing, and finishing techniques for consistent quality
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production schedules and retail needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized decorating station and uphold food safety standards
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal and holiday product innovation
  • Assist with packaging and presentation to meet Summerhill Market standards
  • Work collaboratively across bakery production to support daily operations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Cake Decorator or in a similar bakery/pastry role is an asset
  • Strong finishing skills with proficiency in piping and decorative techniques
  • A creative eye and commitment to high-quality, visually appealing baked goods
  • Strong time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
  • Flexibility to work either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, full-time
  • A positive, team-oriented approach with a passion for baking and customer satisfaction

All entry-level retail and kitchen roles begin at minimum wage ($17.60/hr). Pay is negotiable based on experience.
