We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The Associate Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy of client financial reporting and provide full cycle bookkeeping services for external businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive solutions-focused approach to problem-solving, combined with a commitment to deliver high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.
  • Preparing required client financial reporting.
  • Preparation of full bookkeeping services for external businesses.

Required skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-based approach. 
  • Commitment to high quality of work and exceptional client service.

Work Experience

  • Experience working in public accounting considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of QBO and other bookkeeping programs.
