Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform plumbing tasks effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment on job sites.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during each job.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, construction practices, and assembly techniques is preferred.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for plumbing installations.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed on job sites.
