What You'll Be Doing 

The IT Support and Project Coordinator is a dynamic role that combines hands-on IT support with project coordination responsibilities across both technical and operational initiatives. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable face of IT for staff, helping them navigate day-to-day technology needs while also supporting projects that improve systems, security, and internal processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about using technology—including Microsoft 365 and security tools—to drive positive change and protect organizational data. 

This is a contract role for 6 months.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating technical and/or operational projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and help desk/ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated initiative, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience with Microsoft Security tools, including Intune, Defender, and Security & Compliance Center.
  • Understanding conditional access, MFA administration, and identity protection in Microsoft 365 environments.
Assets:
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator), CompTIA A+, or ITIL.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or automation tools.
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams.
  • Familiarity with security incident response and user support in secure environments.
