Red Door Provisions is a popular third wave café located in Ottawa, ON. Are you passionate about cooking and looking for a creative, supportive team to join? Red Door is seeking talented and dedicated part-time and full-time Line Cooks to be part of our small kitchen crew. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have good vibes, we'd love to meet you

We are growing and expanding into a brand new space. Opening Early January 2026

We will be starting a brunch menu here at our new location focusing exclusively on breakfast/brunch service, and as such, we only require daytime hours. We anticipate weekends being extremely busy, and we do require at least one day of availability every weekend. We will be adopting our sister shop, Cafe Palmier's brunch programming while also developing our own specific flair.

Tips will be shared between FOH and BOH to be determined and will add $$ to your hourly.

Pay can be discussed and will be based on experience. There is always room for growth in the future.

Street parking is available, staff eat and drink for free, paid sick days, health benefits, flexible scheduling, beautiful building.

This position is best suited for a motivated, experienced cook who is interested in leaving the nighttime restaurant scene and is interested in a more balanced lifestyle.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare and cook line menu items to Red Door's high standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet our standards
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Work interchangeably between prep work and line work.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines

  • Experience as a line cook or similar role (show us what you've got)
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen gear
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with great communication skills
